MULTI-CAMO Crye Precision replica BDU top and pants

Since the ICE TAC pants took so long to get I assumed I had been robbed, I ordered up some Chinese Crye Precision replica pants. After shipping and all of that, the BDU top was only $15 more if I got it, so I went ahead and scored that too. For starters, yes I said multicamo which is apparently what they are calling the Chinese copy of multicam. Since I don't own orignal CP I can only talk about what I have, but they do appear to have all pockets/features of the original CP BDUs.

The upper side pockets are a little small in which I have trouble getting my typical sized wallet in them, but does make it in there. To make up for this are some smaller upper pockets which are great places for quick access pens/chem-lights/flashlights. A D-ring is standard on the right side upper pocket which I am always a fan of. The cargo pockets are a good size and a good compromize of velcro coverage to make them stay closed, but not a total hassle to open. The fly has gone the old BDU route and has chosen to go with all buttons. Not the quickest, but is the easiest to maintain. The back pockets only have a small velcro square for closure which I forsee wearing out easily and aren't exactly good for properly holding change. Further down on the leg sides are some bonus smaller pockets with elastic. These also look great for pens/chem-lights/flashlights. Ankle closures are performed with simple webbing ties. I think the light herringbone webbing is a good choice.
-Jumping to the BDU top, I need to run around in it more for good input, but offhand is a good loose fit. Shoulders have the big ACU style velcro pockets, but they passed on adding exterior velcro to the flap. Main shirt closure is old BDU style all buttons, but a velcro closure mandarin collar. Being monkey sized, the collar needs more velcro allow for proper closure. The chest pockets are nice and big and have side-entry tuck away space under them essentially creating another pocket. There is a loop on the left chest pocket for pens and such, but it seems a bit large. The right chest pocket also has a small loop under it for the "removable D-ring" but the D-ring was not included. I enjoyed the velcro cuffs which also are shaped nicely to cover more on the top of one's wrist and open up more below. Some of the sewing finishing was a little sloppy, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with 5min and some scissors.

-I'm going to go ahead and assume most my visitors cringe at the idea of anything replica, but so far these seem to be a cost effective solution to getting some multicam when CP is very commonly out of stock. $80 price for both top and bottom shipped.

Quick update, a button fell off the pants...lame. Elastic is starting to solidify and crumble. If you want affordable multicam that is the real thing, check out Tru-Spec's multicam line.
